The Model 642 NO INTERNAL LOCK is our latest innovation of the historic Model 42 Centennial Airweight®, a lightweight aluminum alloy revolver with a fully concealed hammer. The Model 642 integrates the time-tested features of the original with modern advancements.
Once purchased, we strip the revolver down, polish the internal surfaces and tune the springs, bringing the factory weight from 15-16# double action, down to a manageable 7-8# double action pull wieght. After tuning, we take the pistol out and test fire it to ensure reliable ignition with factory ammunition.
Test fires are typically performed using Federal, Remington, Fiocchi or S&B ammunition.
